Summary:An information processing apparatus includes a first chassis, a second chassis which is coupled to the first chassis to be openable and closable, a first display which is disposed on a first surface of the second chassis which faces the first chassis, a second display which is disposed on a second surface of the second chassis which is opposite to the first surface and a processing circuitry, in which the processing circuitry detects a lid close action that a user is about to close the first chassis or lid close, and in a case where the lid close action or the lid close is detected, displays a selection menu which is used for selecting a mode to be executed in a lid closed state and includes a plurality of modes on the first display or the second display.
