Such a method comprises: a step of receiving (100) a payment request (RqP), via the secure intermediate server (SRI), comprising data representing the identification (IdTC) of a communication terminal (TC) used by a user to perform a purchasing operation on a commercial server (SM) connected to said communication network; a step (120) of establishing a secure point-to-point connection (LS) to a payment module (ModP) of the communication terminal (TC); a step (140) of transmitting a payment execution request (RqEP) to said payment module (ModP); a step (160) of receiving payment information (InfP) from the payment module (ModP); and a step (180) of transmitting an information message (Msg1) to the commercial server (SM).
