Summary:A display apparatus includes a light source generating a light, a display panel receiving the light from the light source and including a display area displaying an image and a non-display area disposed adjacent to the display area, and first and second optical sheets disposed under the display panel. Each of the first and second optical sheets includes a body portion overlapped with the display area and a wing portion connected to one side portion of the body portion in the first direction to overlap with a portion of the non-display area. A length of the wing portion of the first optical sheet in the second direction is shorter than a length of the wing portion of the second optical sheet in the second direction, and the wing portion of the first optical sheet is entirely overlapped with the wing portion of the second optical sheet.
