Summary:A manufacturing method of a rotary electric machine is disclosed. The rotary electric machine includes a stator provided with a stator iron core, which is cylindrical and in which slots are formed in a circumferential direction on an inner circumferential surface, and coils of phases that are each inserted into the slots, and a movable element provided with a movable element iron core supported in a rotatable manner relative to the stator and at least a pair of movable element magnetic poles provided in the movable element iron core. The method includes: a split flux coil formation step; a coil setting step; a stator iron core setting step; and a split flux coil collective insertion step.
