Summary:This turbocharger includes a rotating shaft extending along an axis, a turbine wheel provided at a first end portion of the rotating shaft, a compressor wheel provided at a second end portion of the rotating shaft, a housing accommodating at least a portion of the rotating shaft, bearings provided in the housing and configured to support the rotating shaft, supply flow paths supplying lubricating oil to the bearings, a discharge oil chamber formed in the housing and to which the lubricating oil is discharged from the bearings, and an oil drainage port formed below the discharge oil chamber, in which at least one of the discharge oil chamber and the oil drainage port is formed to be asymmetric between a first region and a second region defined by a vertical plane including the axis of the rotating shaft as a boundary plane.
