Summary:A method for a smart device to perform Bluetooth (BT)-based identity recognition, includes: establishing a BT connection with a first terminal; acquiring a first user account of the first terminal through the BT connection; searching a first preset mapping table for a first identifier (ID) corresponding to the first user account, the first mapping table including a first mapping relationship between at least one user account and at least one ID, each ID corresponding to a respective user account, and the first mapping relationship being determined and sent to the smart device by a server; and determining a user identity corresponding to the first terminal according to the first ID.
