Summary: | It is an object to provide a positive electrode for nonaqueous electrolyte secondary batteries in which a decrease in the initial charge capacity is suppressed even when a positive electrode active material exposed to the air is used. The positive electrode for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery contains a lithium transition metal oxide and is formed by mixing the lithium transition metal oxide, tungsten oxide, and a carbonate compound. The tungsten oxide is present on at least a part of a surface of the lithium transition metal oxide, and the mixed carbonate compound is present on a part of a surface of the tungsten oxide. |
