Summary:In an approach for notifying, a computer receives one or more preemption notifications, wherein the one or more preemption notifications are associated with one or more priority vehicles. The computer identifies a device that is within range of the received one or more preemption notifications, wherein the device includes one or more directional indicators. The computer one or more directions of approach associated with the received one or more preemption notifications relative to the identified device. The computer determines a number of approaching priority vehicles associated with each instance of the identified one or more directions of approach relative to the identified device. The computer initiates to display through the one or more directional indicators of the identified device the identified total number of approaching priority vehicles associated with the one or more identified directions of approach relative to the identified device.
