Summary: | A novel antimicrobial peptide is provided having an inhibitory effect on biofilms produced by biofilm-forming bacteria. The peptide is effective against wide range bacterial targets; generates no antimicrobial resistance; agglutinates bacteria cells enhancing the pathogen removal at the infectious focus; promotes biofilm eradication and prevents biofilm development.
