Summary:An exhaust gas diffuser (38) including: a radially-outer peripheral casing (46); a hub (42) located within said radially-outer peripheral casing and coaxial with a center axis (40) of the casing; main struts (44) located at circumferentially-spaced locations about the hub and extending radially-outwardly to the radially outer peripheral casing; and small struts (52) located at circumferentially-spaced locations between the main struts; wherein the main struts and small struts have substantially parallel longitudinal chord lines and each of the small struts have a cross-sectional area smaller than a cross-sectional area of the main struts. An exhaust gas diffuser including: a radially-outer peripheral casing; a hub located within said radially-outer peripheral casing and coaxial with a center axis of the casing; main struts located at circumferentially-spaced locations about the hub and extending radially-outwardly to the radially outer peripheral casing; and small struts located at circumferentially-spaced locations between the main struts; wherein the main struts and small struts have substantially parallel longitudinal chord lines and each of the small struts have a cross-sectional area smaller than a cross-sectional area of the main struts.
