Summary:An Internet of things (IoT) system includes a user device for receiving a user setting mode execution command, a sensor for acquiring surrounding environment information based on the user setting mode upon receiving the user setting mode execution command from the user device, and a server device for determining a composite hazard index of environmental conditions based on the acquired environment information and prestored hazard index data and determining that the environmental conditions are hazardous if the composite hazard index is less than a predetermined reference value.
