Summary:Examples are disclosed herein that relate to avatar animation. One example provides a computing device comprising a processor and a storage device comprising instructions executable by the processor to receive non-contact biometric data of a user from a biometric sensing system, establish a baseline emotional state of the user based on the non-contact biometric data, output an avatar representing the user with an animation representing the baseline emotional state, observe a threshold change in the non-contact biometric data, and in response to observing the threshold change in the non-contact biometric data, output the avatar with an animation representing a new emotional state.
