Summary:A display device includes: a display panel including a display area for displaying an image; a window provided on an upper portion of the display panel; a protection plate provided on a lower portion of the display panel; and a photosensor provided at least one of between the display panel and the window and between the display panel and the protection plate, wherein the photosensor includes a shutter for controlling light emitted by the display panel to transmit through the window or the protection plate, and a photodetector for receiving the light reflected after transmitting through the window or the protection plate.
