Summary:An ultrasonic surgical system is provided. The ultrasonic surgical system includes an ultrasonic instrument that is configured to ultrasonically treat tissue. An ultrasonic generator configured to provide ultrasonic energy to the ultrasonic instrument provides an indication to a user that a specific outcome has been achieved. The indication is output via a device selected from an audio activation end-tone device, a visual activation end-tone device or a tactile activation end-tone device. The ultrasonic generator includes an end-tone outcome indicator module that includes memory having one or more data look up tables that is accessible by a microprocessor associated with the ultrasonic generator.
