Summary:The proposed method of parallel threshold addition of time intervals can be used in computing devices desogned for simulating neural networks. The method consists in comparing time intervals with each other, isolating the minimal time interval, forming the averaged time interval by multiplying the length of the minimal time interval by the number of time intervals in the group, forming the new group of time intervals by subtracting the length of the minimal time interval from the length of each time interval in the preceding group, determining the summary time interval, repeating the said operations for each new group of time intervals until the summary time interval with unit length or the minimal time interval with zero length is obtained, comparing the averaged time interval with the current threshold value, and forming the new threshold interval by subtracting the summary time interval from the initial time interval. The currant summary time interval would be unit if the current threshold time interval is negative, and zero if the current threshold time interval is positive. At the first stage of this procedure, the averaged time interval is compared with the specified threshold interval by subtracting the averaged time interval from the threshold interval. The proposed mewthod is distinctive by its extended functionality range.
