Summary:According to the method for cooling air or water, total air flow is preliminarily cooled in heat exchanger by supplementary air flow leaving the "wet" part of the apparatus. After pre-cooling total flow is divided to the main and supplementary flows. The last one is directed to the "wet" part of apparatus, and the main flow û to the "dry" part of apparatus. According to that temperature is decreased for the main and the supplementary air flows. At that, the main flow can be used to cool water in direct or indirect evaporation coolers. Additional advantage of the method is in the fact that the heat exchanger installed at the outlet of the supplementary flow to atmosphere provides separation of drop moisture moved from the "wet" part of the apparatus. This invention promotes increase of effectiveness of cooling of the main flow of air or water and decrease of power consumption.
