Summary: | The method for the neurorehabilitation of the patients with apalic syndrome comprises the resuscitation of the patient with the recovery of the systemic hemodynamics followed by the post-reanimation measures aimed at restoring the motor performance of the patient. At the early stage of the resuscitation, the measures aimed at restoring the cerebral hemodynamics are also undertaken. As soon as the minimal consciousness has been recovered, the neurodynamic activity is corrected until the cerebral blood flow attains not less than 50% of the physiologic normal value. Then the early neurorehabilitation procedures are performed. The ultrasound control is used throughout all the stages of the treatment. |
