Summary:A method to determine the total efficiency of a volumetric hydro-drive with circulation of power between the hydro-drive and the hydro-motor includes feeding compensating the power losses for the liquid of the hydro-drive; here one compares the torques of the input shaft of the hydro-pump and the output shaft of the hydro-motor, and frequencies of rotation of those shafts, and after having got the results of determination of the volumetric and the hydro-mechanical efficiency one switches operation of the logical unit from the mode of determination of the components of the total efficiency of the volumetric hydro-drive to the mode of direct determination of the total efficiency of the volumetric hydro-drive.
