Summary:The invention relates to the field of ferrous metallurgy, in particular to the design of device for control of charge burden level in the blast-furnace. The device contains a pipe and insulating body, which are connected with each other with flanges, radio-locator, which is installed into the insulating body, radiolucent screen, which is located in front of radio-locator, and the device for gas supply under the radiolucent screen. At that the device for gas supply is carried out in the form of the hollow ring, equipped with the nipple for inlet and the orifices for outlet of this gas, and is disposed between the insulating body and the pipe. The radiolucent screen is disposed at the angle of a = 82-85 DEGREE relatively to the vertical radio-locator axle. The invention provides the maximum power of radiated and reflected from the charge surface radio signal, which correspondingly gives reliable live data about the value of charge burden level in the blast-furnace.
