Summary: | A method of extraction of explosives from artillery shells containing hexogen comprises separation of the shell to parts through cutting the metal of the housing of the shell by means of cutting cutter in the places of separation to depth smaller than the thickness of the walls of the shell by 1-2 mm, with cutting the shell on the band-cutting bench into parts and pressing the explosive substance from the parts by means of a tool set. The preliminary cutting of the metal of the shell body with cutting cutter decreases the time for separation of the shell to pats, decreases consumption of expensive band sews and decreases energy consumption. |
