Summary:The method for predicting the prolongation of malignant process in cancer patients provides for computed electroencephalography for detecting depression of alpha rhythm and appearance of alpha-like waves in the frontal divisions of the brain. In addition, beta-like activity in the deep cerebral structures is also assessed. The music therapy is performed playing I. Strauss "Viennese Blood", 30 minutes daily for one week. Then the computed electroencephalography is repeated. The depression of alpha rhythm, the appearance of alpha-like waves in the frontal divisions of the brain and beta-like activity in the deep cerebral structures suggests the prolongation of malignant process in cancer patients under study.
