Summary:The method for assessing the functional state of the dopaminergic brain system in the experiment provides for infrared low-intensity laser irradiation of brain at the sagittal plane. In addition, 10-15 pulses of the transcranial magnetic stimulation are followed with pulse amplitude of 0.7-0.9 T. Then the posture and tonic reactions as well as the behavior of the animals in the "open field" assay are studied for the assessment of the functional state of the dopaminergic brain system. The prevalence of the opiatergic or neuroleptic components is indicative of the high or low activity of the dopaminergic brain system.
