Summary: | The proposed method of differential diagnostics for detecting hereditary and inherent endogenous hypercorticoidism in patients with neuroendocrinal hypothalamic syndrome is distinctive by determining the content of adenocorticotroph hormone in the patient's blood and analyzing the response to dexamethasone. When pigment spots and other indicators on the patient's skin are detected, the content of adenocorticotroph hormone is normal, and the results of the analysis for determining the response to dexamethasone are negative, hereditary or inherent endogenous hypercorticoidism is diagnosed. If the aforesaid indicators are not present, and the corresponding results of the clinical research and the analyses of hormones are available, other formsof neuroendocrinal hypothalamic syndrome are diagnosed. |
