Summary:A soaking pit with upper burner contains working chamber, cover, burner with injector of heated air, smoke-deflecting channel with chop wall in the center, over recuperative chamber, channel for delivery of heated air from recuperator to burner injector, recuperator with nozzle retaining the smoke duct from vertical ceramic pipes, and air duct being separated in tiers with horizontal ceramic partitions. Between smoke and air duct of the upper tier of recuperator nozzle connecting ports are made along the perimeter of the upper edge of pipes with width of 0.1-0.7 of inner diameter thereof. Connecting ports at an amount of 0.015-0.075 of the amount of upper tier pipes are disposed in staggered rows in odd transversal rows of the nozzle from the side of heated air delivery.
