Summary:A linear motor includes a mover assembly and a stator assembly. The stator assembly corresponds to the mover assembly, and the stator assembly has a carrier, which is formed by stacking a plurality of first iron sheets and at least one second iron sheet, and the carrier has a plurality of magnet grooves for accommodating the plurality of magnets. The magnet grooves are arranged in pairs, and each pair of magnet grooves is arranged in a V shape. A first side of the carrier corresponds to the mover assembly, and each first iron sheet forms a plurality of opening slots on the first side, communicating with these magnet grooves to expose a portion of these magnets, and a rib of the at least one second iron sheet is formed on the first side to shield the magnets.
