Summary:A portable electronic device includes a base, a display device, a keyboard and two linkage rods. The base has two first pivot shafts disposed at opposite sides of the base. The display device is pivotally connected to the base and configured to be opened or closed with respect to the base. The keyboard is movably disposed on the base and has two second pivot shafts disposed at opposite sides of the keyboard. Opposite ends of each linkage are pivotally connected to the first pivot shaft and the second pivot shaft, respectively, such that the keyboard is capable of being folded or unfolded with respect to the base by rotation of the linkage rods.
