A touch panel structure comprises a sapphire substrate and a sensor module. The sapphire substrate has an axis of crystal, a structure of crystal, and a transparent rate, wherein the axis of crystal is one of a group consisted of c-axis (0001), a-axis including [(110), (110), (20), (20), (110), and(20)], m-axis including [(010), (100), (010), (100), (100), and (010)], and r-axis including [(101), (01), (01), (011), (10), and (101)]. The structure of crystal is a single crystal structure, and the transparent rate is equal or larger than 80%. The sensor module comprises a sensor layer, wherein the sensor layer is directly made on the sapphire substrate.
