Summary:The present invention provides a lane detection method and a lane detection device. The lane detection method comprises (1)acquiring a first image, which comprises an image of at least one vehicle; (2)obtaining contour and orientation of at least one vehicle according to the first image, and the orientation is the direction of the front of at least one vehicle; (3)obtaining track of at least one vehicle according to the contour and orientation of at least one vehicle, and the track is moving track of at least one vehicle; (4)obtaining lane information according to the track of at least one vehicle. The lane detection method provided in this invention can obtain lane information according to the acquired vehicle image, thus assisting in lane line detection.
