Summary: | An electrical discharge machining device comprising a carrier and an electrical discharge machining (EDM) unit is disclosed. The carrier is provided with a fixture that contains a carrier plate to hold an object to be machined, and the object is defined with a processing target area. The EDM unit applies a discharge energy to the processing target area of the object by distributing a non-uniform electric field through a discharge electrode, so that the electric field is concentrated in the forward direction. In addition, the carrier plate has an adhesive layer to adhere to the object, which can avoid vibration of the object during the EDM process, and can also avoid burr formed before the end of the EDM process, and the processing target area is located, for example, directly on the carrier plate, which can prevent the fixture from obstructing the object during the discharge process. |
