Summary:A location-related topic discussion system and an operating method are provided. The system includes a server (110) having a topic-discussion database (130). In the server (110), the topic-discussion database (130) is queried for obtaining one or more location-related discussion topics within a geographic range according to location information transmitted by a user device (101, 103, 105). The server (110) then provides one or more location-related discussion-topic-category linking icons (311, 312) to the user device (101, 103, 105), and the one or more icons can be marked on a graphical user interface initiated by the user device (101, 103, 105). When a user selects one of location-related discussion-topic-category links, the server (110) accordingly provides contents on a first layer topic-discussion page (40) to be displayed by the user device (101, 103, 105).
