The liquid crystal composition of the present invention includes one or more compounds selected from a group consisting of compounds represented by chemical formula IA and compounds represented by chemical formula IB, and one or more compounds selected from the compounds represented by chemical formula II. The liquid crystal composition of the present invention has high low-frequency dielectric constant, low rotational viscosity and good low-temperature mutual solubility.
