A monitoring system with a function of data inheritance in calibration period and a method of data inheritance in calibration period are provided. In a calibration procedure of a flowmeter device, a cloud platform changes the installation address to link to another flowmeter device used to substitute the original flowmeter device to sense the pipeline flow, the cloud platform records and integrates all of the flowmeter data of the installation address, instantly updates the calibration progress, and provides the searching service of calibration progress and the historical measurement data by a mobile device interface. The disclosure can prevent the measurement data of the calibration procedure from a data gap, and provide a solution to search the calibration progress and the historical measurement data easily.
