Summary:Provided is a method for producing an antibody-drug conjugate comprising reacting a compound represented by the following formula:        (maleimid-N-yl)-(CH2)n3-C(=O)-L2-LP-NH-(CH2)n1-La-(CH2)n2-C(=O)-(NH-DX)or        (maleimid-N-yl)-(CH2)n3-C(=O)-L2-LP-(NH-DX)with an anti-HER3 antibody or a reactive derivative thereof, thus conjugating a drug-linker moiety to the antibody, by forming a thioether bond on a disulfide bond moiety present in a hinge part of the antibody, wherein -(NH-DX) represents a group represented by the following formula:wherein the nitrogen atom of the amino group at position 1 is the connecting position.
