Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel that can reduce the occurrence of moire and a phenomenon in which a pattern of transparent electrodes is seen.SOLUTION: A touch panel 21 comprises: a substrate 27; and transparent electrodes 28 that are formed on the substrate 27, the transparent electrodes 28 each having edge parts 31 and 32 that are sides facing other adjacent transparent electrodes on the substrate 27. The edge parts 31 and 32 of the transparent electrodes 28 are therefore not in parallel with the long axis or a color filter or black matrix built in an LCD, and the occurrence of moire and a phenomenon in which a pattern of the transparent electrodes 28 is seen can be reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
