The prevent invention discloses a method for examining biomarkers in an environmental sample, comprising the steps of extracting an environmental sample to obtain an extract; passing the extract through a cleanup column and washing the extract by n-hexane to obtain a first eluent; using a n-hexane/dichloromethane solution to wash the extract to obtain a second eluent; using dichloromethane to washing the extract and applying a negative pressure to the cleanup column by a vacuum pump to obtain a third eluent; mixing the first eluent, the second eluent and the third eluent to obtain a mixing eluent, and concentrating the mixing eluent to obtain an examining sample; and analyzing the examining sample for detecting biomarkers therein. Accordingly, the present invention can examine biomarkers with low concentrations in the environmental sample and has efficacy of high sensitivity and high accuracy.
