Summary:The present invention provides a forming machine, a metal material forming method, and a manufacturing method of stopping hook member for solving the problem in which of the occurrence of partial damage and/or deterioration on a mandrel caused by a punching head hitting a easily broken part of the mandrel. The forming machine includes a mandrel having one or more mandrel protrusion extending along an axial direction; and one or more punching head arranged at the outer periphery of the mandrel to cooperate with the outer periphery of the mandrel to form at least one bending part in the metal material. The mandrel includes a first and a second mandrel parts different from each other and mutually contacted. At least one of the first and the second mandrel parts is provided with the mandrel protrusion.
