The sun tracking system includes a position rotating device, a sensing device and a control device. The position rotating device is connected to a solar panel for driving the solar panel to perform direction change and displacement. The sensing device includes a plurality of light sensing elements annularly arranged on a carrying plate. A light shielding element is arranged above the sensing device to generate a shadow area for shielding the light sensing elements, so that the shielded light sensing elements issue a sensing signal.
