Summary: | An optical part consisting of the injection molded article, and a resin composition for forming the optical part are provided to increase refractive index and to improve transparency. An optical part consists of the injection molded article formed from a resin composition, wherein the resin composition comprises 1-40 parts by weight of a polystyrene having a polystyrene-reduced average molecular weight of 1,000-5,000 measured by gel permeable chromatography; and 100 parts by weight of a cyclic olefin-based resin having a glass transition temperature of 100-180 °C. The polystyrene has a weight average molecular weight of 2,000-4,500. The weight loss rate of the polystyrene is 7 % or less when it is heated at 250 °C for 1 hour. |
