The present invention relates to a marking device and a multi-shaft marking device. the present invention provides the marking device capable of stabilizing a load endued on a workpiece from a markingtool. The marking device of the invention includes a shaft member (1) having a magnet (5); an armature (2), having a plurality of coils (8) around the shaft member (1); a marking tool (4), arranged on a front end of the shaft member (1) for marking on a laminated workpiece (W); and a travel mechanism (21), driving the marking tool (4) to move along the surface of he workpiece (W). The coils of the armature (2) are flowed with current, thereby the marking tool advances and retreats towards the surface of the workpiece (W). when the marking tool contacts the surface of the workpiece (W), further the coils of the armature (2) are flowed with current, such that the load is endued from the marking tool (4) to the workpiece (W) under a condition that the shaft member (1) rotates around its axial cord along a travel dir
