Summary:An optical laminate is provided, which prevents the occurrence of interface reflection and interference fringes at the interface between a light transparent base material and an antistatic layer has been effectively prevented. The optical laminate includes a light transparent base material and an antistatic layer and a hardcoat layer provided in that order on the light transparent base material. The hardcoat layer is formed on the antistatic layer using a composition for a hardcoat layer including a resin and a penetrative solvent. The penetrative solvent penetrates into the antistatic layer and the light transparent base material so that the antistatic agent contained in the antistatic layer disperses into the antistatic layer or the light transparent base material.
