Summary: | Disclosed is a method for manufacturing non-spherical insert mold, including the steps of: configuring an insert mold workpiece, and configuring a grinding wheel. The steps of configuring an insert mold workpiece cause a workpiece to rotate along its own longitudinal center in a Cartesian coordinate space. The step of configuring a manufacturing grinding wheel cause the grinding wheel to rotate about its own longitudinal center in, such that a non-zero including angel is formed between its longitudinal center and the x-y plane. The state where the grinding wheel rotates about two working axes provides the advantages provided by of inclined-axis and horizontal manufacturing, so as to prevent from forming a center navel on the insert mold surface during manufacturing, and the contour errors of the grinding wheel from being transferred to the insert mold surface. |
