Summary: | In a light emitting display having a plurality of pixels, each one of the plurality of pixels has a light emitting element (100) in which light emitting element layers are formed in between a first electrode and a second electrode, the light emitting element layers containing at least a light emitting layer. An insulation layer (30) is formed between the light emitting element (100) and the surface of a displaying viewing side of a first or a second substrate. Undulation (projection and recess) is formed in at least one or more of pixel regions of the insulation layer (30), to constitute a light path length adjusting portion (32). By providing such a light path length adjusting portion (32) in one pixel region, interference conditions of the light emitted outwards from the light emitting element (100) are increased and the interferences are equalized. |
