| Summary: | The present invention provides an image compression method, which is capable of increasing the amount of image data stored in a storage medium and comprises the following steps: increasing the image frames in a picture group to an allowable maximum during compression; changing the original stationary I, B, and P frames sorting method into a dynamic prediction; using the B-frame to replace the P-frame if the frames in a picture group all composed of static data in order to reduce the capacity occupied by the image; and using a quantization matrix with high-frequency filtration properties to perform a forward discrete cosine-function calculation on a frame in the picture group in order to obtain a fuzzier and softer frame. |
