Summary: | The present invention provides an electrolytic capacitor that is large in electrostatic capacity and small in loss coefficient and that is produced by adding trace-amount components to niobium powder to reduce the leak current and increase the electrostatic capacity of a solid electrolytic capacitor. A specific production method comprises using, as a raw material, niobium powder containing at least 1 ppm and up to 600 ppm of hydrogen, and at least 1 ppm and up to 200 ppm of carbon or at least 1 ppm and up to 50 ppm of nickel, the remaining portion substantially consisting of niobium, and forming the sintered body of the powder inside a solid electrolytic capacitor (10) as an anode. |
