Summary:The invention is kind of methodology and apparatus for testing vehicle performance. Mainly, a short-distance test is performed to extract the current data corresponding to the speed in the short-distance test. And perform a test onto the vehicle on the bench. The current and speed outputted by the vehicle are adjusted to be the values corresponding to those extracted in the said short-distance test. At the same time, the driving time of the vehicle is set. By this way, the vehicle is steadily driven under longer time for saving the time and cost of long distance performance testing.
