Summary:To provide a printing tape whose printed surface can be laminated by itself after printing, and a tape cartridge equipped with the printing tape. This printing tape is equipped with a print recording layer 33 whose front side serves as a recording surface, and a transparent pseudo lamination layer 34 which is stuck on the back side of the layer 33. The pseudo lamination layer 34 comprises a pressure sensitive adhesive layer 35 for lamination on the front side and a transparent tape layer 36 on the back side, and functions as a laminated tape for a recording surface by while stuck on the front side of the layer 33 and turned upside down.
