There is provided a direct backlight module, which includes a lampstand, an optical device and a light source. The lampstand has a storage tank, and the light source is configured on the lampstand with a fixed angle. The optical device is configured on the lamp stand and above the light source. A spacer is arranged on the storage tank for carrying the light source. The surface of the spacer is an inclined plane so that the light source can be placed on the lampstand with a fixed angle based on the angle of the inclined plane thereby making one end of the optical device capable of receiving light beam of the light source, so as to obtain a large angle of view and an uniform surface light source. The present invention is able to eliminate the problem in having insufficient brightness at the edge of a display with large angle of view, and thus to make the brightness and angle of view of the display uniform and increase the image display quality.
