Summary:The present invention provides a multimedia data display method and system, which can be applied to a data processing device. The method includes the following steps. Making a data management module to search the matched image data from a database which stores at least multimedia data and playing data based on the data display instruction entered by the user. Next, making a determination module to determine the data format searched by the data management module, and searching the matched playing program from the database for displaying the data on the display unit of the data processing device. Then making a time control module to control the time for displaying the data by the playing program according to the default playing time. The multimedia data display method and system according to the present invention can improve the efficiency of the display unit on the data processing device.
