Summary: | Disclosed is a heat-resistance lithium cell of which thermal stability and electrochemical properties such as discharging property are not degraded even in severe high temperature environment, and thereby the long-term reliability of such a heat-resistance lithium cell is improved. A lithium cell has a positive electrode, a negative electrode containing lithium, a separator disposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode, and a nonaqueous electrolyte liquid including solute and nonaqueous solvent. The nonaqueous solvent contains one or more compounds out of the compounds expressed by following general formula (1) as main components: X-(O-C2H4)n-O-Y, (wherein X and Y independently represent methyl or ethyl, and n is 2 or 3). The main components in the nonaqueous solvent ranges from 90% to 100% by volume of the nonaqueous solvent, and the separator has a melting point of more than 150 DEG C. |
