The object of the present invention is to provide a lid with a leveling piece in which a new lid need not be prepared separately even after the content is ready for take-out, and the lid fitted to a can mouth part can be continuously used when the can is distributed as a commodity on the market and which minimizes possibility that the content leaks outside even when a can is toppled, in a lid with a leveling piece. On the bottom surface 5 of a top plate 3b on an opening/closing lid part 10b side of a lid 10 with a leveling piece 13, the location of a projecting piece 6, which holds a circumferential wall 7 of a can mouth part 2 in cooperation with an inner circumferential wall of a side wall 4 of the lid 10 at the time when the leveling piece 13 is fitted to the can mouth part 2 of the can 1, is provided with a wall body 20 suspended from the bottom surface 5 of the top plate 3b over the entire circumference of the opening/closing lid part 10b along the inner circumference of a wall 4b on the opening/closing lid part 10b side. A groove 11 of inverted V-shaped section is formed in the bottom surface 5 of the top plate 3. A part on the bottom surface 5 side in the vicinity of the circumferential edge of the top plate 3 of a hinge part 12 to demarcate the lid 10 has embedded parts 21a, 21b with the groove 11 of inverted V-shaped section embedded therein in the lid 10 having the leveling case.
